Daily counters reset at 00:00 UTC. “No daily cap” means PLAI.chat does not count your messages — it does not mean unlimited capacity. Free models run on capacity shared by all PLAI.chat users and are often exhausted later in the day; when that happens you are asked whether to answer that message with a low-cost paid model from your credit, and nothing is charged unless you agree. Paid models are always billed per use.
Running a language model costs money for every message. A service that offered truly unlimited, account-free chat would be flooded by bots and scripts within hours, so every free AI chat applies some limit — per IP, per device, per account, or by quietly switching you to a weaker model. Sites advertising “unlimited” with no sign-up usually mean “until you hit a limit we don't mention.”
PLAI.chat publishes its limits instead: start with no account, and when you need more, a free email sign-in removes the daily cap on free models. You never need a subscription — paid models are pay-per-use only if you choose them.
