Limits reset at 00:00 UTC. “No daily cap” means PLAI.chat does not count your messages, not that capacity is infinite: free capacity is shared by all users, and at busy times an answer may be routed to a low-cost paid model — free to you if you are not signed in or your balance is under $0.05, and with a balance of $0.05 or more, charged only if you agree.
It depends on how you use AI. Pay-per-use usually suits you if you use AI a few times a week, mostly need free or low-cost models, or want to try GPT, Claude, Gemini, and others without paying for several monthly plans. A flat monthly subscription from one AI company can be the better deal if you send many long messages to that company's most expensive model every day — remember that on PLAI.chat 10% of each top-up goes to the fee. PLAI.chat is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google; it gives you one balance for many models instead of one plan per vendor.

Paid models cost an amount per message that depends on the model, the length of the conversation, and extras such as web search, and it is deducted from your balance. When you add credit, 90% of the payment becomes credit and 10% is kept as a fee, so a $10 top-up adds $9.
